Cloud resources (Oscar / Cloud)
Swedish Science Cloud is a cloud computing infrastructure. It was previously run by SNIC, the Swedish National Infrastructure for Computing, now by NAISS. Swedish Science Cloud provides a national-scale IaaS cloud and associated higher-level services (PaaS), for the research community.
Swedish Science Cloud is powered by OpenStack Cloud suite and the Ceph storage system.
It consists of three geographically distributed regions, UPPMAX (Uppsala), HPC2N (Umeå) and C3SE (Göteborg).
The system at HPC2N is based on Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 v3 @ 2.30GHz nodes.
