HPC2N
High Performance Computing Center North
There has been an interest among some R users to get started in the fields of Machine Learning (ML) and High Performance Computing (HPC). R, being a programming language for data science, already has a wide variety of packages for ML available which can potentially benefit from HPC. In the present course, you will learn the basics of ML algorithms and how to program them in R. As realistic ML models are computationally demanding when running on a Desktop, we will also teach you how to run these models on Kebnekaise, a HPC cluster at our center.
