Evening dinner (Wednesday)

The Spring School dinner will be at 19.00 on Wednesday, April 24 at
Rex Bar & Grill, Rådhustorget, in Umeå.

We will use the entrance from Rådhustorget (the main city square).
The location is marked on the map.

How to get from the city center to the University Campus

Walk

From the city center it is a 25-30 minute walk (2.5 kilometers).
The map shows how to walk from Scandic Plaza to the MIT-building where the lectures and hands-on will take place. Since they have made a new bus terminal at the University Hospital, there is a second map that shows the last part of the walk in more detail.

Bus

You can take the following buses from Vasaplan to the University Hospital

• 1 Vasaplan (E) - Ö.Ersboda
• 5 Vasaplan (F) - Strömpilen
• 6 Vasaplan (O) - Carlshöjd
• 8 Vasaplan (F) - Tomtebo
• 9 Vasaplan (O) - Carlshöjd

On buses number 5, 6, 8 and 9 you can go one more stop and get off at Universum.

You can also take Bus number 2 Vasaplan (G) - Ersboda handelsområde, and get off at Universum.
The bus stops are marked on the map.

Please note the direction on the buses (indicated by the name of the destination).

To go back you can go from the same bus stops, but in the opposite direction.
