Node-Level Performance Engineering (4-6 December 2023)

This online course is given by Leibniz Supercomputing Centre in cooperation with NHR@FAU.

The course covers performance engineering approaches on the compute node level. Even application developers who are fluent in OpenMP and MPI often lack a good grasp of how much performance could at best be achieved by their code. This is because parallelism takes us only half the way to good performance.

Kebnekaise will be retired as a national resource

Operating since 2016, Kebnekaise remains a unique resource with its mix of standard CPU nodes, GPU nodes, large memory nodes and Intel Knights Landing nodes. Due to its age, as of 2023-01-01, Kebnekaise will no longer be available as a national resource via NAISS/SNIC. Instead, we refer to other national resources available through NAISS/SNIC, see NAISS/SNIC Rounds for more information on available resources.
