Gaussian 09 has been upgraded to revision B.01 on Akka.
Please see the Release Notes for more information about the new release. Information about using Gaussian at HPC2N is available at our Gaussian support page.
Due to a newly published very nasty security flaw we are blocking new logins to Akka until we have a fix available. We hope to have this available later today.
It is now possible to login to Akka again.
On Wednesday June 30 from 07:00 to 19:00 there will be a planned cooling outage on the UmU campus.
Our computing clusters will not be running jobs during this time period.
HPC2N finally releases our new website.

Akka has served us well for eight years but will now finally be retired.
Akka will be turned off at the end of March and dismantled to make room for our new upcoming system.
Any jobs still remaining in the queue will simply be canceled.
